Version 4.4 "Genius Invokation TCG" Update Details

Hello Travelers! After the Version 4.4 update, Thoma, Sayu, Cryo Hypostasis, and Millennial Pearl Seahorse Character Cards, their corresponding Talent Cards as well as seven Action Cards will be added to Genius Invokation TCG. Some card balance adjustments have also been added. Let's check them out!

After the Version 4.4 update, visit The Cat's Tail to invite the characters for a duel. Complete the specific challenge objectives to obtain the Character Cards and corresponding Talent Cards. New Action Cards "Sapwood Blade," "Veteran's Visage," "Jeht," "Silver and Melus," "Machine Assembly Line," "Sunyata Flower," and "Matsutake Meat Rolls" can be purchased from the Card Shop.

Today's co-op adventures included:

The person who was raising Furina and Neuvillette at the same time, told me proudly that they were the only 5-stars they'd ever rolled for and the only characters they planned to use ever again, and asked me to help them with the Hydro Tulpa and the Millennial Pearl Seahorse. Their Furina (level 50) and Neuvillette (level 60) were, indeed, the only characters they used. XD Fortunately Navia could solo both (with a little help from Hu Tao).

The person who was raising Raiden Shogun and needed help with the Thunder Manifestation, which I happily gave them. They brought Raiden, which was about as helpful as the last player with the Hydro Tulpa, but they also had Jean, so heals were covered! They then asked me to help with a few other things, including a small adventure in the Chasm, and at the end they were like "I have resin for one more boss but I don't know who," and I offered to help them with the Thunder Manifestation again, because their Raiden was level 70 so I was assuming they didn't have all the drops they needed. At which point they said, "But you can only fight bosses once per day?" and I got the joy of filling them in. :> Who knows how long that poor person has been grinding various bosses once per day only....

The person who had Clorinde and Beidou, said "follow me," teleported to the Electro Hypostasis, and rushed into the arena without changing characters. I followed, and despite Navia one-shotting the Hypostasis every time it took three tries to get it down because Navia and Noelle are not the best characters to deal with its prisms. At the end I told them, "hey, just a hint, for the Electro Hypostasis it's best to use other elements" and they went "I know, I just forgot who I had on the team," teleported to the Millennial Pearl Seahorse, and had charged into its arena before I even got there without, again, changing out their characters.... (At least the last boss they wanted to hit was the Oceanid!)

ratso is a new boss for cloud retainer, finn is a jadeplume terrorshroom (who turned very red xDD) and chow is a millennial pearl seahorse. originally, chow and finn were not even planned, by the way. the idea came to @auntielurry after the kitty was leaked and i drew ratso version for her. and then it went further)))0)))))) lurry came up with the idea of who to assign to whom, and i implemented it ☝️

ABOUT TEAM 1 Friendship Lv. 3 Welcome To Spiral Abyss

We did not have the chance to be more acquainted with each other, but the team’s synergy in battle was undeniable. Robin always knew what to say to keep everyone’s morale up, and Lyney’s magic show was not only powerful but also did plenty to ease the tension in the air. Not to mention General Jing Yuan… While he may have appeared much too relaxed at the beginning, he held within him an indisputable strength. Whether it was all a dream or not, I hope to one day meet them again, so that I may properly thank them for their hard work… And apologise for failing them. I hope they all managed to defeat that monster.

Millennial Pearl Seahorse

As Lyney blazes a trail of flame, the swirls and loops of fire streaking through the abyss like blinding comets, Robin prepares her closing act. Perhaps this is not quite the performance she'd envisioned having with him, but it's the one that they need to stage. Magician and songstress, feline and fowl, she takes the energy her partner passes onto her and channels it into her voice.

The opening notes are out of her mouth before the seamare can recover from the flames that it stumbles through.

It's a new melody, its lyrics unsung, but one needn't hear words to understand Robin's intention. She gathers Resonance from deep within her heart, hands clutching her chest as though reaching for the very depths of her soul. And from the cupped nest of her palms, out flies a Charmony Dove—its fledgling wings stuttering through the air, a far cry from the grace with which her previous attacks had flown with. But every bird that pursues the sky; every chick who throws themselves to the air will eventually land where they are needed. This is the sentiment that powers each song, each hope, each prayer she whispers to her Aeon.

They can all only do so much. But it is in the constant pushing against these limits that they're able to break free of them. To soar towards the sky that they were promised.

Thus is the song that finally fells the wretched beast, the Resonating frequencies causing its physical form to slowly come apart. When one inspires Harmony, it becomes horrifyingly easy to evoke Entropy as well. The seahorse out a loud roar before falling into the ground with a dull thud. After a moment of silence, Robin finally exhales.

"Wonderful job, Mr. Lyney. I deeply appreciate having you by my side through everything." though she speaks breathlessly, there's a shine in her eyes that conveys sincerity, "It was an arduous battle, and… not without its losses…" her gaze turns downwards, the brief lapse into melancholy speaking all the words for her. They've had this silent conversation before. Robin hopes it would not be a trend.

She sighs, then wraps her arms around herself. "This truly was an awful and strange dream. But we will wake from it… and when we do, I hope I can properly thank you all in a place more meaningful than this."

Death: the shadow of a Dream, the Nightmare that exists behind its sweet curtain. She is familiar with the sensation—the sound, the look, the somber tune of its song—but she cannot help but feel upset by it.

"Generals!" she feels the word rip hoarsely from her throat, the note punctuated with the fall of their bodies. But Robin tries not to stay upset for long. She will meet them when they wake, of this she is certain. She will thank them for their aid once they come to Reality. For now, she will carry for them the promise that all the living do—the promise of bringing this all to an end.

That promise… weighs like a pocketful of konpeito tucked within the folds of her dress; sounds like the swaying, off-tune hum of an idling singer; feels like the flick of a card flying from dexterous fingers. She holds onto these feelings, ones that she will not soon forget.

Robin takes a deep breath. Then, she turns to her remaining companion, a silent flame burning behind her expression.

"Mr. Lyney…" she says gravely, "I will be with you until the very end. Let's bring this show to a close."

Her Resonance has carried many different feelings in the fights she's had in this dream. It carried feelings of hope, feelings of anger. But now, as she pushes in her diaphragm, rounds her mouth, and lifts her voice to sing—it carries a sense of finality. It is a tune that would play in a show's final act, or near a movie's ending credits. Robin is pulling the metaphorical curtains down on this beast—for what she prays will be the last time.

The attack unfurls like a scene. First, two silvery arrows fly through the air, then they shift into a pair of cats leaping from a large, star-studded hat. Finally, two becomes one, and the image of a small yet proud spirit emerges from the Resonance, striking at the seamare with thundering fury. Robin's never made anything quite like it before—but she supposes she's grown quite strong since the start of this Dream.

"Now's your cue, Mr. Lyney!"

A purple wave washes over them, surging with surprising force. While such an attack is lethal, Jing Yuan calls out. "Everyone! Behind me!" It This would no doubt result in his end, but at the very least, he can try to mitigate the damage the rest endure. There is no sound to describe the screeching of such fulmination.

Lightning Lord forms out of nothing, shells of armor collapsing and shed, to reveal what lied beneath. Muscles and tendons of energy bound together, what exists just beneath skin, plants its spear down to support itself. Electricity continues to chip at the construct, physique fading into bones of gold. Streaking riding along each limb and rib, cracking and falling as fish pelt them.

Once the attack fades, Jing Yuan falls to his knees, his own spear is shoved down, head resting against the pole. A glance over, to see the other General. He was not quick enough. He can only hope the other two are still standing.

"I'm gonna... take a rest. I leave the rest... to you two..." The spear no longer hold him, collapsing against cold marble.
